I adored RF: Guerilla, and the demo's just gone up for this.

The level of destruction is even more insane... Not sure about constant parade of generic alien baddies and underground setting though.

The fact that you can un-fuck everything you've just destroyed is impressive. Check it out!

Yeah, can't fail to be impressed by the number of polys it throws about but after 5 minutes I found myself going a bit "meh" at it. Like you say, probly down to too many crappy lizards and the 'stuck underground' feeling. The gameplay has all got a bit silly for me too; the magnetic rifle just apes the grapple in Just Cause 2, and the nano forge makes the game feel more like magic than sci-fi. I'm not sure about this one. Going underground was the wrong direction methinks. I'd have been happy with another Guerrilla with added aircraft/more big machines and structures to fuck up.

Yup ditto. With you on that one; a Mars a few years on with even more buildings to destroy...you'd have thought it was a no-brainer, but there you go.
