Its a long time since I've put any extended time into gaming but MGSV on PS4 is doing it for me.

Putting in a couple of hours a day at the moment.

I was lucky to achieve an hour a week before this.

Anyone else playing?

Yeah playing it here and enjoying it. But not as much as Mad Max I have to say. And quite why they made a big fuss of getting Keifer Sutherland onboard when Snake is pretty much a mute in this, is baffling.

I'm giving it a go, but truth is I'm just rubbish at stealth games. I'm having more fun with God of War on the PS3 at the moment. Loving Mad Max too and also toying with the idea of playing Dark Souls 2 again but the PS4 edition. I never got round to the DLC on the PS3 so I need to sort that out before Dark Souls 3 arrives!

And if I may say so, what a charming smashing blouse you've got on

I'm pretty crap at stealth too. I normally start out with stealthy intentions, get discovered and come out all guns blazing.

The game supports both options and is definitely a grower. The more familiar with the controls you get, the more fun it becomes.

It also has a habit of shifting things just as they begin to get repetitive, new missions, new gadgets etc.

Yeah its very rare that my sgealth plans work out well in MGS. Which is annoying as lately I've loved playing all the splinter cell games. But I think they are much better at letting you be as stealhy as you want. Same with the hitman games.

It seems in MGS that in some mission locations, there is a huge difference in the number of enemies during proper missions than there are during side quests. Like they want you to resort to killing people. For instance, why no silenced sniper rifle? At least not yet and I've put a lot of hours in so far. Guards also adapt and get night vision and wear helmets, the latter meaning you can't put them to sleep where you want. Instead it becomes a lottery of when they drop down. But the worst is guards that seem to appear behind me, from where I have just come from, who definitely weren't there when I passed a couple of minutes ago. It's a cool game, but can be annoying at times. Especially navigating your homebase, which is unnecessarily spread out!

Yeah I've got the tranquilliser sniper rifle which is handy, but no silencer.

In places I've got tired of taking over the small control checkpoints and just opted to leg it around the outside in the distance.

Apparently horse shit is good for making vehicles skid off the road, but I've not tried it yet.

Desperately trying to upgrade my fulton device so I can uplift containers of materials. I've just unlocked a mission that promises a transport specialist..

Yeah I want to go back over some earlier missions to 100% them but desperately need the fulton upgrading. It's such a cool/funny piece of kit.

Good to know about that sniper rifle. I guess I should concentrate in developing sniper rifles and it will eventually appear.

One thing, I can't find where the animals are kept at my homebase. I had a message saying I could now go see them, but it isn't marked on the map and I seem to have looked everywhere. Oh and errrrrr....Quiet is a babe :)
