So - I'm working on a show right now - To Kill a Mockingbird - and one of the guys in the show, Todd Malicoate, is old friends with Dave Ball. He told the strangest story yesterday that he says Dave Ball told him from his Survivor experience... That when the castaways are at tribal council, the producers have them shoot video of them writing EVERY SINGLE players name down. They film a vote for everyone. And supposedly, Dave says that the producers then fill the voting urn and decide who gets voted out. Surely not - Mark Burnett or CBS would have been sued over that by now. But I just thought it was interesting... Why would Dave say that? So weird. You ever hear that BROBST? Wonder if anyone else has ever heard of it. |

That is BIZARRE. If this were true - it would have gotten out by now. Sounds like a crazy story he's just wanting to spread around. They absolutely DO influence the show. (I've read the deposition about the Stacey/Sean/Dirk stuff) And they try to force certain outcomes with idols and clues. But they would have been busted for something that big long ago. PLUS, there's no way it would be true because the producers would never let certain people get voted out, or they'd never let certain votes be predictable. |
