(DO NOT POST ON. Roleplay is already underway, just got to repost all posts. Thank you for understanding) In the beautiful land of Lrysane, there lived a beautiful goddess. She was loved and prayed to by all of the people who lived in her land. They gave her wonderful offerings and she was always pleased. Her name, Chaeah'l. She was known for her chariety and her wisedome. This goddess soon had two bouncing little girls. Twins. But, this shocked her fore she wasn't sure who she was going to give her title to when she passed. But, with two daughters, it was going to be hard to choose. So, in the midst of her trouble, she decided that she would give them both the the title. As time progressed, these two girls knew nothing of their lives to be. They didn't know anything about getting a title and all the power that went with it. All they knew was that their lives were great as they got older and things got better for them. At least, until their mother broke the news about having them share the power of being Goddess. That they would have to work together to serve the people. That the power and resposiblity would be greater because they had to work together. Aerrith and Aleonia were not sure that they wanted to share the power and the title, so their once beautiful friendship soon feel apart and they started to fight more and try to show the other one up. Their mother soon grew worried that the power would soon corrupt her little girls, so to try and teach them a leason. Their powers were striped and they were sent to live in villages on opposite sides of Lrysane. They were told that they would regain powers only when they could feel love, respect, and friendship. They were to live with humans until they could work together with other people and then soon themselves. The two girls lived with these people for most of their lives, at least until they were 18, gaining bits and peices of the powers that they once had. Aerrith had grown to be quite angry. Her life wasn't the greatest and she wasn't to pleased with it all. Her dark red hair seemed to always be tied up so that it remained out of her face. Eyes of a dark blue just watched those around her. A blacksmith's adopted daughter, she had been taught to weild many weapons and even forge them herself. It wasn't until, one day, she discovered the almost whereabouts of her sister, Aeronia, that she soon became more consumed in her own hate and darkness. In her mind, the only way to gain power and the title of her birth mother was to destroy the one thing in her way. Her sister. |

Aleonia could have easily been considered the 'good twin', but, like her estranged sister, she was bitter. Bitter towards her mother for giving the role of Goddess to both girls as well as bitter towards her sister. She, like many siblings, didn't want to share; it just happened that what they had to share was much bigger than something like a doll. But often the red-haired girl would put it out of her mind, trying not to focus on the negative and only trying to live happily. She tried to live happily with her adoptive family, which consisted of three other siblings and her parents. Oh, and their horses, which was a chore in itself. Her adoptive father ran a stable, yet she still had a wariness of horses. Her pride would never allow her to call it a fear, but it was pretty much just that. This family knew that she was different, but not why or how. They had no knowledge of her pending Goddess status or of her Goddess birth mother. They hadn't any idea that the Goddess they gave praise to every day was the mother of the child that sat in their midst. Aleonia had lived on the farm for as long as she could remember, but she was very aware of the duties and task entrusted to her. When she was younger, she'd wondered if she'd perhaps dreampt it all up, but as she grew older it was undeniable. Especially when her powers began to seep into her, despite the fact that this seeping was more like a dribble. She did her best to hide this from her family, which wasn't too difficult, considering. She often wondered if her powers were just weak, if she didn't have much power to begin with or if, for some reason, they were only being given back in very small quanities. On the odd day, she could be found sitting outside on the fence while her father tended to the horses and she would be deep in thought. This, of course, was what she would be thinking about. Her sister; their powers. Had Aerrith begun gaining back her powers too? Were they stronger? Did it matter? Maybe their fued would be over, but she somehow doubted that. Sadness would invade her soft blue eyes, wishing that the fued could be put to rest. But she knew that as long as both of them wanted the powers for themselves that this wouldn't happen. And she wanted those powers, craved them even like an alcohol that had never been tasted. The girl awoke with a start one night, as if startled by a noise. Her eyes flew open and she found herself suddenly sitting up. Looking around, she saw nothing but the darkness of the room and her younger, adoptive sister's sleeping form across the decent sized room. While she wanted to, she wouldn't risk lighting a candle as it would surely wake her sister. She was actually surprised that the young girl hadn't awoken already considering she was a light sleeper and usually stirred at any sound. Aleonia took careful steps as she rose from her bed. She knew exactly which floorboards she could step on and still keep quiet, but there was still the risk of her bed creaking. Which of course it did and she paused, shutting her eyes and cringing momentarily before opening them again. She was shocked to see the girl still asleep and wondered what spell had been placed upon her. That was the only explanation she could think of. She made it out to the porch without incident and she wondered why she was graced with such luck on this night. No complaint left her though as she stepped into the cool night air. She hugged herself, trying to get her body heat to stay with her since she'd been foolish enough not to grab a shawl or something to cover her arms. Her night dress wasn't that thick and gooseflesh had arisen all over her arms and legs. The red-haired girl stared up at the starry sky, thinking why she was awoken. She could place no real reason, but knew that something jolting had caused her to awaken. A shiver ran down her spine and she wasn't sure if it was from the coolness of the night or from the feeling in the pit of her stomach. It felt like she was being watched and she looked around her, but saw nothing out there. There were no eyes peering at her from within the darkness, yet the feeling could not be shaken. Pushing her long hair out of her eyes as she turned, she headed back into the home, taking one last look over her shoulders. Still, there was nothing. Not that she could see anyway. |

Upon that same night that Aleonia was risen from bed due to something, Aerrith was as well. Walking to the window in her room, she looked around, but she saw nothing. Aerrith was an only child. Her adoptive parents couldn't bare a child, so that is why she was placed in their care. She wasn't spoiled, to say, but she did get some things that other children couldn't afford. Her parents were the sort to make sure that Aerrith was happy, not because she was short tempered, but because they wanted to make sure she had what she needed to live. Being well off was not how one should put this family for there were times that they had to go without for months. But upon that night, Aerrith soon walked from her room and past her parents. They lived beside the smithies, so seeing the open sky wasn't hard for her. Bare feet touched the ground as she walked out of the small hut the smithies was housed in before looking around. Hair had been tied aback in a braid so that it was easier to manange in the morning. Even though Aeritth tended to be a little cold hearted, there was something about this one night that made her own skin crawl, and that is rather rare for Aerrith. Looking upwards, she soon saw a bright light appear in the sky as it soon formed into a figure. Blinded some, Aerrith rose a hand over her eyes before trying to look at it. The figure soon formed into what would be their mother. But it would only be Aerrith and Aleonia that wouls be able to see her. Their mother smiled some before speaking, "My children. It is time." 'Time for what?' Aerrith pondered to herself. "It is time that you prove to me that your time on this land has proved well for you. Venture forth in the land towards the center of the land. Help anyone along the way. Show me that you are willing and deserve the power that you were born into." their mother soon began to explain. Aerrith just smirked as she soon found the oppertunity she was looking for to slay her sister and take the power for herself. By force if she had too. She would have the power to herself. "Yes, Dear mother..." She just smiled happily, but the wickedness of the smile was still there. As soon as the mother got her asnwer from her children, she would disappear from the night sky, giving it back the calm nature that it once intended to hold. Aerrith just crossed her arms over her chest and smirked. "The time has finally come..." For on this night, the twins would have been turning 18. The right of passage was soon opening up and they would have to go forth to seize it. |

As she shut the door to her home, she stood stalk still, a sudden light streaming through from the doorway and windows. Turning quickly, Aleonia threw open the door again and her breath caught within her chest at what she saw. "Mother," she breathed finally, her already softer tone coming out with even less strength than normal. Though it hurt her eyes a little to stare at the brightness in the dark, she continued to do so, awed by what was happening. This was something that she had not expected. "My children," she heard her mother begin to say, "it is time." "Time?" she found herself questioning aloud. "It is time that you prove to me that your time on this land has proved well for you. Venture forth in the land towards the center of the land. Help anyone along the way. Show me that you are willing and deserve the power that you were born into," her mother told the night air. "The center land?" Aleonia wondered. She'd never travelled anywhere, much less the distance it would take to get there. The farthest she'd ever gone was to the next town over when the dam overflowed several years back. "But mother..." Aleonia frowned when she saw the world grow darker again, her mother's essence obviously gone. She knew that she couldn't just back away from this and pretend it never happened. The teen was well aware that she would now have to go on a journey to the center lands, but how was she going to explain this to her current family? "Ale." Aleonia turned at the sound of the sleepy voice from behind her. There she saw her adoptive father standing, scratching the top of his head as he yawned. He was a tall man, quite the bit taller than herself and well built, considering his choice of occupation. He stood in his nightwear, taking a look outside now, wondering what his daughter would be doing. "Something wrong?" he asked, his voice barely making the words go passed his lips as he faught another yawn. "Couldn't sleep," she told him, looking back outside again before stepping inside and shutting the door as a chill took her. "And I have a journey I must take, father." "Oh?" he questioned, his attention fully on her now, and he seemed all the more awake. "Yes." Aleonia turned her blue eyes to the floor, her hair falling in front of her expression. She felt guilty for having to do this to those who had taken care of her for so long. "Well," her father said casually. "We can talk about that in the morn. For now, let's just get back to bed." "Of course, father," Aleonia nodded with a sad smile on her face. Something told her that he had been expecting this to happen for a while. Each returned to his or her respective bed for the remainder of the night, and while Aleonia did sleep, it was very lightly. So lightly, in fact, that she wasn't sure if she was asleep at all or just laying there. When morning came, she was tired and nervous. Would her family react in anger, sadness, understanding? Had her father simply been too dazed with sleep to understand what she was saying and would now strike her down? She sat on the edge of her bed, staring at the floorboards under her bare feet, her loose hair hanging again in her eyes. She could feel the warmth of the rising sun on her back and saw the shadows appear with the sun's rising. She soon heard a disturbance of covers from the other bed within the room. "Aleonia," her sister beckoned as she sat up. "Good morning." "Good morning," Aleonia replied, offering a small smile. "You look sad, sister," the young child commented. "I am sad," Aleonia found herself saying, though she had wanted to hide it. "Whatever for? Did you have a terrible dream?" "No. It was no dream." Aleonia shook her head, both to show the negative response as well as to clear her thoughts. "Come now, let us go begin to prepare breakfast with mother." It was later in the day that Aleonia found herself staring back at her village as she exited down the road. On her back were a few necessities and provisions and she was dressed in a travelling dress that her adoptive mother gave to her. A cloak covered her shoulders, should she need it at a later time and she did have a set of warmer clothing with her. As her hair was tied back into a pair of braids and draped over her shoulders, the wind did little in disturbing her hair. Only a few stray strands brushed up against her cheeks and into her glassy eyes. 'They took it well,' she mused to herself as she turned to leave down the road. Her brothers and sister had taken it harder than her parents and Aleonia got the notion that they had indeed been preparing themselves for the day when she would leave. They had known all along that the girl would one day search for her true family, and while that was only partially the case, Aleonia didn't dispute it. Her younger siblings didn't want her to leave, and even the brother that was closest in age to her looked like he was holding back tears. It touched her to know that she'd been so cared for. Aleonia had left though, and was now walking down the road with the keepsakes they'd given for her to remember them. 'As if I'd forget,' she grinned sadly. A simple, silver ring now adorned her right thumb; that gift had been from her mother. A knife from her father hung from a simple belt from her eldest brother. Her younger siblings had both given her small trinkets that she also kept within the few pockets of the belt. She didn't want to lose them. The girl shook her head, as she would often do to clear her thoughts, and tried to be strong. While she was leaving these people behind, perhaps it was better, considering the trouble that could be brought when she encountered her true sister. |

After the events that took place at night, Aerrith went back to bed and slept rather well. She didn't care about how she would get there, she just knew that she did. She slept rather soundly that night, except when morning rolled around. She groaned in bed as she pulled a pillow over her head to block out the light. "Stupid sun..." She droaned out before pulling herself out of the bed. She walked over to a water bowl and washed her face before waking out to the kitchen where she saw the most food ever. "Is there something I should know about?" She asked her parents as she looked at them then at the food that had been placed on the table. "We just wanted you to have a good meal before you leave..." Her mother spoke as she tried not to cry. Her adoptive parents already knew that Aerrith would be leaving on her 18th birthday, so they wanted to make sure it was memerible. She just smiled before giving them both a hug and sitting down with them to pig out on the food. She knew it was going to be hard on her parents, so she acted as if it was going to be hard on her as well. even though, she really couldn't care less. After she had eaten her fill, she took a bath and plotted out how she was going to kill her sister. 'I could do it slow and painfully, or quick like she never saw it coming. Oh, so many choices...' She thought to herself as she washed a leg or two. After her bath, she would pack everything up. Her hair tied back in a simple ponytail, bangs sitting infront of her eyes. She got everything that she knew she would need, even a few things that she didn't. Upon leaving the house, she looked around before saying her final good-byes to her parents before walking towards the village entrance. It was going to be a long journey, but she knew she could do it with her goal in mind. Course, she wouldn't be expecting the many things that might happen on her trip, but she was also to focused on her goal that she never gave herself time to think of what else could happen while she was out there. As her feet took her further and further away from the place that had raised her, the more she started to grin. She knew that it would be the first place she visited when she got her power. Mostly because there were a few people who she would have loved to kill because of the things they had done. The teasings and the things thrown at her. She would make them pay. Aerrith just walked with a large smirk on her lips. Her journey had begun and so had the plan to kill her sister. |

Aleonia walked until her feet were sore, took a rest and then walked some more. It felt like forever before she finally reached the next village, which was one she was unfamiliar with. After almost an entire day of walking, she came upon a village that was a great deal larger than the one she'd come from and she stared around in awe. The people bustled around the village, whether because they were heading home for dinner or to finish up the day's chores. For the moment, none seemed to notice her though as they were all in their own little worlds. She simply stood to the side of the road, closer to a building and watched them, wondering what she should do. 'Should I find lodging for the night or keep going?' she wondered as she watched them with a slightly troubled expression. While she wasn't normally a shy person, she was out of her element here. She felt quite out of place and somewhat like a lost child. She tried to swallow her anxiety and just continue on and make a decision, yet this wasn't working. So for the time being, she simply stood there and tried to collect herself. 'It's not like I don't have enough money. There's no reason not to stay,' Aleonia told herself. 'I need to sleep sometime and while I'm not afraid to camp, it is a bit chilly.' She watched as children ran home with their siblings or friends with her soft blue eyes. They were giggling and shoving each other playfully, and she was reminded of her younger sister, and then of her true sister. 'Aerrith... we used to play like that... before mother told us of our duties...' she thought. 'If only she hadn't.' It had never really occurred to her that it may have been worse if their mother had only appointed one of them to the Goddess position. Whether it had been Aerrith or Aleonia, the one who wasn't chosen would have surely gone after the other. She sighed heavily, leaning against the wall of the building for a moment before pushing away from it. 'I shall find an inn,' she told herself, determined. She stood further out into the street and began to look around, but for the moment saw no inn. The red-haired girl wondered if maybe it was because the village was large. 'Now...just where to find one...' |

Garret leaned against the side of a small house. "you seemed lost in this city. it's not safe here at night, one never knows where trouble lurks. where you headed I may be of services to you... for a very small price that is." Garret smiled. he was sincere enough and had no intention of hurting her. the opposite really. he wanted to help her for now. Truth was he needed a way out of the city and for him to travel alone. he had run into a little bit of trouble and needed an escape. "So where you headed? I know this city very well" He pushed off the building and took few steps toward her. hands raised as if to say 'I'm unarmed'. He stopped a few feet short and waited for her to respond. ~*~ Aerrith had been wandering around. She hadn't left her own village for it was a rather large one. Her eyes just took in the many sights there were to be had. Her feet jumped a few times as she once found herself skipping. Perhaps out of pure joy. She hadn't come across any other villages as she walked for the day she had been. Mostly because the nearest village to her own was actually a three day walk. Course, Aerrith didn't actually care about that. She didn't mind sleeping under the stars. As night slowly started to approch her, she would have pitched up her tent and soon set up a small perimter that would allow her to know if anyone was coming. Sitting under her tent, she just looked upwards. "Soon, Your time will end soon, dearest sister" She just smirked before laying backwards in her tent and staring upwards at the sky. Things were going well and she intended to keep it that way |

The red-haired girl spun at the sound of the male voice, decently startled by it. For some reason, she was quite sure that he was addressing her and that she wasn't just picking up on someone else's conversation. For a moment, Aleonia remained silent and assessed him, noting his action to show that he was unarmed. While he surely could have been hiding a weapon, for now, he seemed safe enough. She wondered, though, just how much she should tell him. 'For a small price?' she pondered silently, wondering just what kind of small price he could be referring to. Money, maybe? She hoped it wasn't food, because that she didn't have much of. She would probably be purchasing some before she left. She felt she would have enough for a while, but she didn't know how far away the next town was... it could be days. 'Dangerous at night?' came her second thoughts. She looked around herself absently, wondering just where this trouble might be lurking. Everything seemed perfectly normal; what could possibly be so unsafe about this village that seemed like her own? Finally, she spoke aloud and told him, "I am unfamiliar with this town." She gazed around once more before her attention returned to him. "I was looking for an inn for tonight, or are the inns unsafe as well?" she questioned, truly wondering if that was the case. For the time being, that was all the information she would give. There was no need for this stranger to know where she was headed. |

Garret Post. Garret is copyright© to James Butterworth. He smiled and bowed slightly. "Then I am at your service. all I ask is that I may travel with you. I can be of service all over the place. unfortunately I myself am out of money at the moment however give me a small amount of time... say ten minutes and I can grant us a space at the inn." Garret stepped towards her again, only once though. he drew his sword and held it by the blade and hilt and offered it to her. "You may need this in your journey. Take it as a gift and a token of my service." |

Aerrith soon sat up as her barrier made a small jingling noise that she could easily pick up. Eyes looked around from under her bangs before she shook them from her eyes. Body slowly rose as she balled her fists up. She may not have had a weapon but her father had taught her a few things about fighting one on one. Moving out from her tent, she looked around. A sigh emitted when she simply saw a rabbit at her barrier. She tilted her head at it before running at it, scaring it off. On her way back to her tent she was soon surprised to see someone approching her tent. They must have used the rabbit as a distraction. Aerrith crossed her arms as she walked over to the man. Looking down, she saw a knife in his hand as he soon looked at her. She just tsked some. "You know, You shouldn't be looking through other peoples things. You may never know what you find or what type of person the own is." She was surprsied to get no snotty remarks, but also a little disapointed. she wanted to have some fun with this man. But, her fun soon came in another manor. The man ran at her, knife ready to actually hit her or at least try it. Aerrith just smirked as she moved slightly, fist coming up into his stomac causing him to hack up some blood and drop the knife. The male hit the ground as he coiled into himself while Aerrith circled around him before picking up the knife and looking at it. An evil smirk crossed over her lips as she soon stepped on the mans head. A loud crunch and squish was heard as she crushed the man's skull under her foot. His body was then dragged out of her barrier and left there so that the carnivour wildlife could have a decent meal. Aerrith just tucked the blade into her belt before laying back down. Rather satified about what she had done. No remorse what so ever. |

"Travel with me?" Aleonia blinked in surprise. Was that the price of his services? Not only was that peculiar in her mind, but she suddenly thought of her sister. Perhaps she should at least warn him? Her thoughts were interrupted though and she withdrew slightly at the sight of the sword. The teen's form was tense for a moment, but she then realized that the hilt was what was facing her. Her form relaxed again upon his words of explanation. She looked to the sword and then to him to see if he was serious. "Thanks," she said, carefully grasping the hilt of the sword, considering he had the blade in his hand and all. It felt weird to her, to hold a sword, as the closest thing to it that she'd ever held was a knife. She wasn't trained in swordsmanship, or rather, her adoptive father hadn't allowed it. He had always said it wasn't a woman's duty or place to go to battle, so there was no need for her to be trained in it. And he'd always said that he and her brothers would protect her if the need came about. It suddenly dawned on her that she was certainly now being almost rude to he who was helping her and made quick to amend that. "My name is Aleonia," she told him, using one hand to at least attempt at a slight curtsy. |

I would be honored to Travel with you I can assure you I am an expert survivalist among many other special... talents." He smiled still, he had a slightly off appearance about him as if he was not one the world would normally see. Nothing was physically wrong with him unless you looked closely at his eye and even then but his personality was something else, as if he himself was not there but at the same time was. one might assume he was merely toying with her. "You may call me... Garret." He leaned up against a building again with a wanted poster next to him of him. |

Aerrith just glanced upwards before looking to the side as she heard the growls of hungry animals. She figured they must have found the body which just made her grin some. She then just yawned before looking back to te sky. Foot jumped, covered in blood and brain matter, but it didn't seem to bother her any. Teen just closed her eyes. Hungry, but she would eat later. She was to comfortable to actually move at the moment to get herself anything. As the night air came over her, she just smiled and sighed. "Feels good to finally be on my own." She just spoke aloud before rolling over onto her side where she would rest. At least, she new her perimeter would hold up for the night and in the morning. She's having rabbit. |

The poster caught the teen's eye and for a moment she simply stared at the words, reading them to find out what the poster said. Wanted; scrawled across the top in plain lettering and black ink. Before reading anything else, blue eyes went to the image that came with the wanted sign. It certainly wasn't a "help wanted" and her eyes had travelled away from it before doing a double-take. They then shifted to Garret; back to the poster; back to Garret. 'Survivalist indeed,' she thought silently. 'He's certainly managed to avoid this so far, it seems.' A thought then occurred to her, 'Probably why he wants to leave town.' As calm as she was, she was more wary of Garret now. She hadn't bothered to look to see why he was wanted, but the village surely wouldn't just slap that on the side of the building to get a laugh. Though, she was unfamiliar with the place... no. Wanted posters were not something to joke around with. Not completely ignoring it, but not exactly pointing it out either, Aleonia looked to Garret again. "You mentioned being able to acquire a space at an inn?" she questioned, wondering if she even should. For all she knew, he was going to kill someone in order to get a room at an inn. She sighed inwardly, suddenly thinking of Aerrith. 'Definitely something she would do if she were here. Perhaps I should ask him just how he aims to acquire this space...' She figured, though, that she would have no chance at stopping him if that was what he intended to do. No experience in swordplay and her powers were limited, on occassion even erratic. 'What am I getting myself into?' she wondered as she considered breaking away from Garret before any mess started. |

Garret post. "I can assure you I am quiet harmless to those I deem friends and you sit right up there." He tossed her a key on a ring. "The inn is just down the street over there, your room is at the end of the corridor on the second floor, the in keeper won't question you I guarantee it. In the morning we will leave and I will teach you how to use that sword, you will find great use for it and soon. Now if you excuse me I have some buisness to attend to." Garret started to walk off but before he rounded the ally corner he stopped and looked back "And lock your door." He walked off and out of sight, if she had followed him she would have rounded the corner to find an empty ally. |
