I have to assume you are not referring to the singer Ashley; but, more properly the earliest recorded name for the Jewish State of Israel.

Ashley, the return to the Holyland after the Diaspora, right; but, it was my understanding that the title Aliyah for the phenomenon was chosen because it had been the earliest recorded name for the Israeli settlement of the middle east from ancient times.

Thanks for playing Kevin; nice to have some extra input.

I should have explained why I put Stubby there? in OZ, a throw down is a 250ml beer in glass and, it is so small that it is called a throw down so, I said Stubby, another name for a LARGER Glass beer. :)

A "Stubby" in Canada is the name applied to the standardized beer bottle introduced in the early 1960's by then E. P. Taylor's Carling-O'Keefe Breweries (Northern Dancer fame, Argus Corporation) and subsequently adopted by all Canadian Breweries: http://www.stubby.ca/about.php
