There are many stories in the wizarding world. Probably the biggest is that of Harry James Potter, the boy who lived and conquered the dark lord.

However, Harry's story was not the only central one happening. Whilst he and his friends were struggling year after year, other students experienced their own problems and triumphs. Each student is unique, they all have their past, present and future.

It's time to take a turn in the magical world that wasn't in the original books.

This topic will contain spoilers for the entire series!

What would you say is your favorite moment in the Harry Potter series?
There are lots but when Voldemort returned to power in Goblet of Fire, that was a "Woah" moment.
Also when Sirius and Dumbledore died. Those were very surprising. Those are my personal ones anyway.

So what is your favorite moments? I choose twists but it can be anything (Twists, humor, book, film etc).

Yeah that was pretty good. I liked the way Harry seemed fearless by callling him Tom.

yeah. Deathly Hallows has the best moments..

Harry and Voldemort's face-off was cool. Although, Snape's moments are my pick.

I don't have a particular favorite, I have several... so here they are in no particular order:

1. Voldemort's return
2. Dumbledore discovers Voldemort's return
3. The duel between Dumbledore and Voldemort duel
4. Sirius's death
5. Snape kills Dumbledore
6. Hagrid finds out Dumbledore is dead
7. Dumbledore's funeral
8. Harry faces Voldemort one last time (Tom Riddle speech)
9. Molly kills Bellatrix

There are others but those really stand out to me.

I missed that one. Truly spectacular on the big screen. A little different to what I imagined; probably because I imagined the Ministry to be slightly different.

Yeah, me too. I also wanted the fountain to play a bigger part as JK intended but Warner Brothers missed that out. <_<

They must have thought it minor to the fans. I was half hoping the statues would come to life all through the ministry scenes.

The problem I find with alot of people is that they don't realise how beautifully written the final confrontation was. Harry could face Voldemort without fear, the man who murdered his parents, everyone else who had shown him love and who had destroyed everything he stood for. He faced Voldemort with out fear and showed great courage and strong backbone. The fact that he didn't have to resort to violence was brilliant and Voldemort's death was beautiful and so symbolic. I thought it was a beautifully written scene that people don't fully appreciate. JK's finest hour.

Also I find the idea of Voldemort in control of the Ministry and the Trio on the run simply chilling.
