After his wand next on his list was his books. He knew all too well the place to go for his book needs was Flourish and Blotts. He stepped into the shop and as soon as he stepped over the threshold he was greeted by his Father. "Oh there you are son, I was wondering when you be coming in here, thought It would be best to wait for you in one shop I'd knew you'd come in than... Anyway, your mother and I will be at Florean Fortescues, when your done come and join us." Without time to respond he had whipped out of the shop door, Joel just caught a glimpse of his cloak as he left. Joel went over to the shop keeper and handed him his list. "Ah, right, first year huh follow me" He started walking round the shop handing books to Joel. "Right thats the lot". Joel went back to the till and purchased the books along with some other essentials. He left the store with: Books The Standard Book of Spells (Grade 1) by Miranda Goshawk A History of Magic by Bathilda Bagshot Magical Theory by Adalbert Waffling A Beginners' guide to Transfiguration by Emeric Switch One thousand magical herbs and fungi but Phyllida Spore Magical Drafts and Potions by Arsenius Jigger Fantastic Beasts and where to find them by Newt Scamander The Dark Forces: A Guide to Self-Protection by Quentin Trimble. Other Equipment A Dozen Regular Quills Six Bottles of Black Ink Six Bottles of Grey Ink Six Bottles of Red Ink Two Bottles of Color Changing ink Ten Twenty-feet rolls of parchment Fifteen Ten-feet rolls of parchment Twenty Three-feet rolls of parchment. |
