For those of you that didnt know, J.k Rowling said in an interview by Cbbc Newsround That dumbledore is actually gay. ( sorry if that word offends people, i dont know the other word for it.) JK Stated that dumbledore fell in love with Grindlewarld and then turned against him ( against Grindlewald ) after he found out about his obsesion of the dark arts. Its amazing how little things like that changes peoples views of somebody. Anyways i just thought people would be interested to know. Pottermad Again i am sorry if anyone was offended by the use of the word Gay |

I never really thought of Dumbledore having a sexuality. When I first found out I was like WTF?! But when I thought about it, alot of the pieces of the puzzle fit together. Its changed my view of him... but not in a good or bad way. Its made him feel more real, more human... its good that JK gave him a bit more characterisation. |

I personally don't care. It isn't suggested in the books or movies. All J.K Rowling did was answer a simple enough question, and I think some people are over-reacting. I mean Harry Potter was originally a children's book. Language was stronger in Deathly Hallows, and Dumbledore's sexuality is no where near as bad as that. |

Its all to do with looking at people differently, which I think is the point Pottermad is trying to make. |

Some reactions are negative because parents know that their children are reading this series of books. Thing is, children will learn that people have different tastes in their type of partner and they have to respect that. |

Its not that people find it a negative thing. Its just that this explains a lot of Dumbledore's character traits, and explains quite a bit of his past. People look at him differently because of those things... not necessarily in a bad way. |
