OK, I finished Serious Sam and got bored with GTA2. Think I'm going to check out Geneforge 3 next. The first two were amazing. |

Hey, a spiderweb fan? Here? Now that's a surprise...thought I like exile/avernum best (though not BoA/Avernum 4) |

I've tried Avernum and Exile, about two years ago or so, but never liked how the party was handled - everyone moving around in a straight line. Seemes really cumbersome to me. Geneforge is much more dynamic in that respect. A surprise? How come? |

Well, it's not a very large company, and likewise the fanbase is somewhat limited. Most gamers take one look at the graphics and decide to go elsewhere. On parties: Not in combat, and that's the only place character position matters for me...though GF has the more advanced movement system and graphics. |

Well, I'm more into gameplay than graphics. That's probably the reason I play games like Hunt for the Red Baron, ADOM and the likes ![]() Re parties: good point on combat. Though I'm more of a diplomatic player so combat is not that major a factor. Still, Avernum/Exile seem to have a more limited movement system. Or maybe it was something else that was bugging me *shrugs* |
