OH, I thought Dryad was a person. I know the monsters Dryads, and they are cute. I would advise against too much contact with them. I lived with one named Holly for three weeks, and I ended up with aphids in the most uncomfortable of locations. Damn her for borrowing my clothes. |

Yes, yes you do. You, Miss Eliza, are living proof that someone can enjoy geekish activity while still being amazingly good looking. Well, I am as well, as long as you think fur and scars are hot. Um, you know what? Ignore everything I just said. |

Just something that comes up when reading this, I'm actually pretty annoyed with the increased recuperation of monsters; My Gnome Champion isn't able to beat more than one Deamonwood within 500 rounds anymore... Sorry, this isn't the best place to post it in, but it's worth more than the first post in this topic.

Awww...thank you Lupis! My geekism runs deep...I am sad to say...it comes from having 3 older brothers who all play xbox360 and PS2/3...the only way I can join in is to play videogames. This game is so much fun because I don't some somebody beating the crap out of me all the time. (Older brothers can be SO mean!)

People in their twenties can't have older brothers who've tortured them? |

OK, so you're 20, and you have older brothers who are a) Getting towards late 20s, or older, video game fanatics (by assumption) and c) torture you? My advice, challenge them to one of those fighting games like DOA. No skill required, just continuously press random buttons, and you usually win. Either that or beat them up in real life. Or ask one of us to, like Grash. Grash seems hard-core enough. Disclaimer: Continuous beating up of older brothers may lead to serious injury, to them or to you. If anyone asks, I told you nothing. |

I hate fighting games. I like shooters...because that's what they all play. My oldest brother is 25...and they have been torturing me since I was 3!

1) DoA sucks. It's bad as a fighting game, and it's not even good as the softcore porn they're trying to market it as. 2) Some fighting games DO require skill. 3) Uhh...thanks for the confidence in my...hard-core...ness. But I don't beat people up...much. And unfortunately I'm all the way in Turkey. However, I'm quite ready to come beat someone up if you pay for my plane ticket. Unless I have a midterm or I'm going to go play games with friends. I can never pass a game up... |

Dammit why can't I think what DoA stands for. Also Tekken is an awesome fighting game. I love shooters unfortunately don't have many though since it is hard to find them around here after they have gone platinum since they sell out quite quickly but my favourite is Killzone it is so awesome mind you I got bored of it but they have put alot of effort into the story line |

DoA = Dead of Ardania, referring to all those undead shambling about the place. For those of you who have just joined us, what you're witnessing here is a phenomenon called the kudos Effect, where a topic is hijacked and used to discuss something else. |
