I once read an interesting story about vampires... by Charles de Lint I believe. His view was that all vampires aren't repelled by crosses or garlic, just the ones who used to be Christians or Italian chefs. He made vampires become repelled by the thigns they used to love; so smearing chocolate on your neck would be more useful nowdays. One of the main characters had to basically sit inside during Easter day, and the other was deathly afraid of fuzzy slippers.

how so? Read tsuabasa, especially the part about E. Humans who willingly stick around a vampire so he/she can feed upon them. |

Maybe it is just me..but eternal damnation doesn't sound like a small cost for anything. Eternal youth and immortality? Boring!

Actually true immortality is physically impossible, and if it somehow was, it would be a curse. Do you even have the faintest idea how long eternity is? What happens after all the stars have gone out? How about when protons decay? Have you considered being alone in the dark for 10100 years? You are thinking like a mortal. Trust me, immortality in this universe isn't all it's cracked up to be. |

that's what a stasis generator is for. I'll just wait until technology is advanced enough to build one, then just go in stasis until humans come around again. Besides, I have a theory that immortals would be perfectly fine as long as they're with another of the opposite gender >.> I mean as a true immortal, lack of oxygen, water, matter, etc. aren't going to affect you at all. Ideally, I would like a conscious pure energy state focused into a human form (IE Planeswalkers from MTG) |

I guess you don't understand the underlying physics. Eventually the universe will fall apart (even if you don't). Humans will never exist beyond this point. You will be completely alone for all eternity with nothing to do or see. You will be condemned to spend countless billion and billions and billions of years in utter nothingness. |

Dumble is right... I believe the definition of hell is the absence of God.... Dumbles information and eternal damnation sound like the same thing...either way...no thank you. Congrats on your gift cards Klodin -what is chapters?

I DID think of that. However, becoming ageless is close enough to not becoming old. I guess there is a small difference between becoming "old" and becoming "older". Obviously there is no way of stopping something or someone from getting "older" unless you stop time. |
