You don't need to play WoW to know what happened to Draenor. But still, the whole first WoW expansion is based on running around in Outland (well, at least 98% of it) killing foozles, so yeah, Outland is very much inhabitable. If you want to look at plot holes, look somewhere else in the lore, it's full of them, most notably that silly spaceship the Draenei came to Azeroth with. Oo
