I've been contemplating writing some stuff loosely based on the concepts I had for the original RepOSpec (including some of the characters I created), though the setting would be vastly different. That's part of what inspired my whole "Final War" 'verse that I've created a little backstory for elsewhere, although it's been almost a year since I've actually done anything w/ it.
