Since I mentioned them I don't know how many times on this forum I thought I should create a thread about them. Any one heard any of their songs or albums, or any of the remakes, tributes and trance remixes? I have two of their albums on CD, "Dark Side of the Moon" and "Wish You Were Here", but I also have "Animals" and "The Wall" on my computer. I have also heard five songs from their album The Final Cut on their web site (link), two David Gilmour era songs, "Learning to Fly" from "A Momentary Lapse of Reason", and "What Do You Want From Me" from their last album "The Division Bell", and two Syd Barrett era singles, "Arnold Layne" and "See Emily Play". I also heard a couple of remake songs. "Another Brick In The Wall" by KoRn, "Comfortably Numb" by Scissor Sisters (I don't like this remake), "High Hopes" by Nightwish, and "In The Flesh?" by Dream Theater. |

Another Pink Floyd fan?! I love Pink Floyd, they're my favorite band. I've got 5 of their CDs: A Momentary Lapse of Reason ("Pink Floyd" at its worst, I'm glad I didn't pay for it), Dark Side of the Moon (My all-time favorite CD), The Piper at the Gates of Time (another great album, early Floyd and later Floyd are completely different bands, though), The Wall (a bit inconsistent but still pretty good), Atom Heart Mother (not that good but not that bad either), and Wish You Were Here (Stellar). |
