Yeah, I got it. In fact, I've gotten pretty deep into it, starting a game as the Japanese at the astonishingly high level of *gasp* Warlord It's more like Civ2 than Civ3 was, and I didn't particularly like certain aspects of 3. Fortunately, many of these have been axed. I also like the new "Civics" aspect of controlling the government, as opposed to simply picking from a number of rigid, straightforward government types. I'm finding religion to be a bit more fun than I thought it would be (I founded Confucianism!), partly due to the fact that having a Holy City allows you to spy on any other city that shares its religion for free
I also like the way you can "upgrade" and specialize your units as they gain EXP.

Just got it, love it too, i play it a whole lot, just got through finishing a game where i was playing as the french. |
