	"Roses, Daisies, Tulips, and even Lilacs can be deadly to those who suffer from floral allergies. So beautiful to look at and smell but a weapon none the less, whether it be the thorns of the rose or the toxic pollen of a petunia; Flower power is just as mighty as any sword!"

Sarena Posts: 125 Group: Members Member #84 Joined: April 10, 2006	FFIX was personally my favorite, in all ways. When I beat the game, I was really sad, because I didn't want it to end. The whole game went by too fast, and I wished that there would have been more... But I was stuck on the final boss(which I will not state name for spoiler reasons) for a really long time. Maybe about 6 months or so. I finally beat it one school night, and of course, I had to go to bed. I just left my system on over night, since I did NOT want to beat it again-after all that hard work.

I mean what's the point in rushing through the entire game all for just one stupid sword?.

I've been looking the past few days for one.

I've been looking the past few days for one. Pete's GPU and SPU plugins work really well, and the P.E.O.P.S plugins work too. In Pete's plugins in particular, there are certain extras you can enable, one of which has to do with Square games and Final Fantasy IX in particular. I reccomend ePSXe (6.0 or 5.2.1) for any PSX ISO, because it's easiest to work with, and searching for help is a lot easier since most people use it. If you PM me the problem you're having with it I can try to help.

I plan to use Zidane, Freya, Quina and Eiko. Despite what some people have said i think Quina is a much more valuable character then people give him/her credit for. If you take the time to learn their Blue magic spells, then after they know some of the more useful ones then Quina can become deadly and helpful at the same time. Eiko's sole role is to keep everyone alive with Curaga spells and summoning Phoenix in the rare event that Ozma manages to kill everyone but her. The reason i'm choosing Freya over Steiner is simple, Ozma's Curse ability shrinks everyone and Steiner's Shock sword tech deals hardly any damage when he's minimized. But Freya's Dragon's Crest ability deals damage based on how many dragon type enemies she has killed regardless of enemy defenses or if she's minimized. And i made sure to have her fight a bunch of Grand Dragons so she's good to go. And like most boss battles you're stuck with Zidane weither you want to use him or not, but he also has an ability that can ignore enemy defenses and deals the same damage even if he's small. Thievery skill deals damage based on how many times he's sucessfully stolen stuff from enemies, so if ya want it to deal alot of damage you'll need to have him steal at least once every battle. Ozma has some useful stuff to steal including a third pumice piece, dark matter and something else. So if you're feeling lucky feel free to try to nab some of Ozma's loot before ya finish it off.
