It's not that, it's the early ones for the SNES were never released, and the PlayStation ones are popular among the chavs.

Do you like smoking, drugs, hip hop and popular electronic music, bling, gangs. modded cars, sexy girls, clothe labels and violence?

Would you stab someone if they don't give you what they want?

oh i'd do much more then that if anyone was foolish enough to cross my path i'd destroy them and everything they ever cared about.

General's violent fantasies aside...I enjoyed FFVIII a whole lot more than VII. Music was better, the story was more involved and actually grabbed my attention, I like the characters more, it was more difficult, there were many more plot twists and it was less predictable. I honestly don't know what the big deal is over VII, other than that it was the first one for the PSX. But to each their own.
...An enemy that is pure evil? Right and wrong are not what separate us and our enemies. It's our different standpoints, our perspectives that separate us. Both sides blame one another. There's no good or bad side. Just 2 sides holding different views.

VIII's world map looks so much better than VII's, not to mention the Ragnarok looks way cooler than the Highwind. Plus VIII has Zell enough said. :p
