 Major Shepard reminds me a lot like Jack O"Neill cause he'z the more relaxed and funny person on the team and then Ronin or how ever his name is spelled he'z awsome cause not only does he carry a gun he carries a Sword sometimes.

 The SGA team is really similar to the SG1 team in that Sheppard is like O-Neil w/ the military background, dry humor, and stuff. McKay is like Carter w/ the whole technological genius thing, Tayla is similar to Jackson in regard to cultural knowledge, and Ronon is like Teal'c due to their intense military background from another culture/planet and insight on fighting/tracking.

Damn, Ronon is cool. :p

This post is quite old, but has anyone seen the new episodes?

I watch it every once in a while, saw the one last friday with the whales, it was ok. I don't like it nearly as much as SG-1 but I still think its one of the better sci-fi shows out there and I like how they incorporate SG-1 and Atlantis together.
