Announcement: Project "Random RPG Mark III" is now underway! Due to popular demand (well, mostly TP's ), I have decided to bring back the Random RPG to this forum. Of course, there are going to be a few changes:More Starting Species, Skills, etc.: Self-explanatory. Alignment has been dropped: It didn't really seem to affect gameplay all that much anyway. You can still roleplay as a "good" or "evil" character, you just won't get any bonuses or penalties for it (aside from those resulting from common sense and cause and effect, but given the nature of this RPG even those may be ignored ).Inherent Skills: Each species will have a set of inherent skills that are determined by the race they choose as well as the one skill they pick at the beginning and any they may acquire through the course of the game. Limitations: That's right, in order to counterbalance your skills, you are now going to have a few penalties to take into account. Some will be inherent (and thus cannot be overcome naturally), some will be acquired over time, and one you'll have to pick yourself when you sign up Luck: I've finally figured out a way to use this. Each one of you will be randomly assigned two numbers (by a roll of the dice) on signup. Every time you make an action, I will then roll the dice again. If you get one of the numbers, something very lucky will happen to you If you get the other number, well...
 That's all I can think of right now, but I'll add more if / when I can think of it. |

It's ok. And you needn't worry about my RPG, your char is in a sticky situation anyway and when you decide you're ready to play again you can pick up where you left off. Just let me know when via PM and i'll dig for your last results i posted and re-post them along with the others and that way you don't have to search for it. |

Aaay... Haven't had time to update this RPG recently... Or participate in others, as some may have noticed. I've been having some RL stuff (mostly school-related) to deal with which has cut into my 'Net time, so until that gets dealt with I'll be putting this RPG on hold. Hopefully it won't go the way of the first two... |

Random RPG Restarting on a Limited Basis I'm planning on reactivating this RPG on a limited basis. That means that you shouldn't expect an update every day, but I'll be trying my best to keep this updated. I still won't be posting in any other RPGs for a while, however. Also, taking a page from HL's RPG, every character will now have their own separate game thread. How it'll work when there's more than one character in the same location I don't know (since I do plan on having a few of you "bumping into each other" eventually), but I'm sure I'll figure something out. |
