Yesterday I watched O Brother, Where Art Thou? for either the fifth or sixth or maybe fourth time. Its one of my personal favorite movies. I was wondering if anyone here has ever seen this film which should be seen by anyone who can see.

I've never seen the whole thing, although I've seen a pretty considerable chunk all put together. Usually whenever it's on (and on the rare occasions when I actually watch TV) I'll come in somewhere near the middle or towards the end.

Very funny movie, though :D

I saw a part of it when my parents rented it where they stumbled on a KKK meeting and saved some black guy. That's about all I saw but that's like one of my top things to do if/when I obtain a time machine so I guess the rest of the movie can't be that bad.
Try AE: Its awesome (I'm in Alpha server with Bluemofia)

If I remember correctly, I think the black guy was either one of them, or a friend of theirs. Then again, it's been a while since I've seen it.

I do remember the "Don't let the flag touch the ground!" bit though ;)

Yeah, they save a black guitarist from getting lynched. You people should check the flick out, its based on The Odyssey, its fun trying to find what scene in the movie is based on what part of the epic. Oh, and John Goodman is in it, JOHN GOODMAN!!!

I've seen bits and pieces of this movie and i liked what i saw.
"Roses, Daisies, Tulips, and even Lilacs can be deadly to those who suffer from floral allergies. So beautiful to look at and smell but a weapon none the less, whether it be the thorns of the rose or the toxic pollen of a petunia; Flower power is just as mighty as any sword!"

I really like this movie and have added some of the soundtrack to my regular playlist :)
The classic cop with his big shiny glasses who's chasing them, I remember watching Cool Hand Luke and listening to the most ominous of lines said by another tough copper with big sunglasses "It seems that there has been a failure to communicate" then you know you're screwed (but in a bad way)

O brother can make you like bluegrass and country music for the first time :p
