Instant Karma Posts: 263 Group: Members Member #144 Joined: March 20, 2007	I've known quite a few people who argue that the original releases of the 3 early star wars movies are much more better than the release Lucas pulled off a couple years ago. I for one prefer the knew ones, I believe for the most part are truer to what the films could of been visualy but some scenes I think sorta suffered such as Hans shooting Greedo in self-defense. I mean for god's sake, Hans doesn't need to self-defend he kills you before you even have a chance to dare to kill him. Comments?

Admin-type Guy Posts: 8,750 Group: Admin Member #2 Joined: October 1, 2005	I've seen both (but only own the rereleased versions, on DVD), and I most emphatically agree that editing the Han-Greedo Shootout is probably the stupidest thing George Lucas did. However, I did like what he did w/ the Sarlacc in the rerelease of RotJ.

I like the extra scenes that were put into the movies too, especially the one with Jabba outside of the Falcon. It really clarifies how Solo got into trouble w/ Jabba regarding the spice shipment he dumped. Its too bad that CGI wasn't added to the Battle on Hoth w/ the AT-ATs. Those things would have looked even more awesome w/ the new graphics.

And yeah, that's why I liked the last few minutes of EpIII as well. I mean it, my WoW character looks like a female version of a cross between Darth Vader and a Stormtrooper when she puts her helm on...
