Mine says: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3000+ 1.81 GHz It's the second line you should notice, as that's what denotes the actual CPU speed. I got 3 GHz and I consider that to be low. I need a new motherboard and gfx card too... At least my 40 gigs + 200 gigs + 300 gigs hard drives aren't full yet. (The 300 gig one is actually two 300 gig drives running in RAID-1.)
