Fortunately I'm on Christmas Break starting today As far as names go, I'd be all in favor of getting a new one for the board, but I don't have any really good ideas at the moment. I like the idea of putting "ASG" somewhere in the new url, though I'm looking forward to working w/ some of the new features. Oh, BTW, welcome back, General

What would be most effective is a marketing campaign. Putting a link to this place in your sig at other boards is easier and does more to promote the site than any number of new banners.

HL helps run a few other boards too, I think; perhaps he could convince their owners to cross-affiliate (if he hasn't already)? Maybe it could be a sub-forum instead? I dunno.

Most of the boards i help manage ethier closed(personal reason), or are allready affilated with us.

Right? You got a point there, but making the link more attractive or more prominent might help. Maybe making a new banner isn't such a bad idea after all, if it can be scaled down without looking bad it could be used as link. Also, search engines sort hits by the number of pages that link to the page, so having lots of links to us actually will help with search engine visibility. My point still is that our problem is getting people here, what's the point of redoing the whole site if nobody knows it even exists? Getting an easier to remember address might help with that actually, I think it places us higher on search result pages.
