*blows a bit of the dust off*

Recently I've been playing an awful lot of the Battle for Wesnoth. It's an interesting little turn-based fantasy strategy game that caught my eye about a month back. It's also freeware, which greatly appeals to my current lack of permanent income :)

In fact, I've been getting into a lot of freeware games lately. In the past couple months I've been playing Dwarf Fortress and Oolite as well.

Haven't been able to play much of anything but I did pre-order Dissidia, so that'll be out next week sometime and I'll be playing that...

I've been playing a lot of FF III for the DS lately, and for some reason almost every boss I encounter kills me the first time I encounter it >.< yet when I go back for a rematch I manage to beat it, so now I'm like super cautious. I decided to go back to the Temple of Time and gain a few levels before proceeding any further, because knowing my luck the next place i need to go has yet another boss just itching to own me the first time I fight it, so I'm going in prepared this time around. >:P

See, that's another game I started but never beat...I put it down, started IV instead, and went 'O.O Must play this. Must beat this. I'll play 3 some other time...'
