So...I guess it's a puzzle game for PC that came packaged with Half Life 2. I, never having been interested in Half Life, didn't even hear about it until I heard 'Still Alive' months ago. Everyone says I should play it, and I'm planning on it, since it's now available separate from Half Life 2.

Has anyone played it? Is it as good as everyone I've seen/read/talked to about it says it is? In other words...is it worth my $20?

...An enemy that is pure evil? Right and wrong are not what separate us and our enemies. It's our different standpoints, our perspectives that separate us. Both sides blame one another. There's no good or bad side. Just 2 sides holding different views.

Got it with the Orange Box, and I can say that, yes, Portal is awesome :D The puzzles can be a little tricky at times (and they get harder the further you go), but it's pretty fun to experiment witht he Portal Gun. Even though it's laid out like a shooter, you don't have to actually kill anything, although there's plenty of stuff that can kill you once you get to the more difficult puzzles.

Heck, I'd have to say that the Portal Gun itself is probably my second favorite "weapon" from the HL series, with only the Gravity Gun getting better marks.

In other words, yes, it is certainly worth your $20, at least in my opinion.

Perhaps Elyse will let me borrow it if she ever beats it...Or perhaps I should get around to figuring out if that torrent I found for it worked.

I got the game last February as part of The Orange Box and played it until I got stuck on a level that needed fast reflexes.
I beg for my tummy to be scratched...
