Ah! I love this game! Anyway... It's about some guy who is apparently named 'Wander' even though we never learn this in the game. Wander wants to revive some girl that was sacrificed and doesn't care what he has to do to revive her, or the cost that he himself has to pay. An ominous voice tells him that if he kills the 16 colossi, the girl can be revived. So, Wander sets out to do just that. You follow your sword to a colossus (if you can find it...haha...) and try to figure out how to kill it (which will take you more time than anything else in the game), and you kill it. One thing you'll notice right away is that there are no other people, no towns or villages anywhere in this entire place, and (oddly enough) no background music for when you are wandering around in search of these colossi. As you go on, you start to kind of get a foreshadowing of what's going on and what's going to happen, but it's not easy to figure out. It's a quick game. I took about 8-10 hours because my oldest nephew was interrogating me about the game half the time, so it was hard to focus on how to kill these things when he was talking to me. Most people probably won't take that long. For a quick game though, it's extremely memorable. A lot of the elements are very unique and things you haven't seen in other games. It's so much fun trying to figure out how to kill these colossi (and frustrating too half the time), and once you do figure out how it's a challenge to actually carry out the actions. So, pick it up sometime. You can find a used copy for around $10-15 at most game stores. Play it. Love it. Be sad at the end. |

...An enemy that is pure evil? Right and wrong are not what separate us and our enemies. It's our different standpoints, our perspectives that separate us. Both sides blame one another. There's no good or bad side. Just 2 sides holding different views. ~Squall Leonhart | |

It was an awesome game, as Rinoa said, very challenging but the ending is great. The cinematics are pretty good. A decent game, but it was expected. I would've like to have a bit more of a challenge but it was good anyway. The landscpe was well done though the story to the game wasn't that great, it didn't really have a backbone just pretty much, travel, find and kill. As said, it was a fast game, I believe I finished it in about 5 hours at my father's.. Best New Years Eve ever. xD |
