NumberVI_TheCloakedSchemer__ Posts: 1,233 Group: Members Member #170 Joined: June 30, 2007 Gender Male Innate Color Red Zodiac Sign Aquarius	I just came across one of our Admins threatening to issue a suspension from the board to Rinoa over the game 'ASG Staff Hurt And Heal' I mentioned that seeing as it was a simple mistake it should not have dire concequences when a post can be simply edited and she did not swear at an admin, member or anything else, just a simple mistake. It's two incidents over stuff that didn't even have to arise, from the same admin, he threatens to warn members over small little things when he can simple just say that thye made a mistake and the person who made the mistake can just quickly fix it up. I believe we should have a several more rules, ones that actually apply to admins and not ordinary members. Get a percentage of Admins/Super Moderators Opinion To Do Something If It Seems Foolish Or Powerhungry All Admins should discuss the matter beforehand unless the matter is directly breaking one of the forum rules such as no swearing at members, posting pornographic content. etc. Admins should not make threats of suspsnesion, warnings or expulsions on the board over small instances that are easily fixable or are not such a big deal.

Use it, so the rest of us get a chance at having our say about whatever it is you are so angry about. Basically I'm totally against mods and admin who are abusing their powers, or who are in other ways unfit for the job. Being admin or mod means you got a lot of responsibility, so be mature about it.

If it had been a one time thing I'd have merely asked that the person correct their mistake, but for it to have done more than once suggests that it may have been done intentionally. And expecting Admins or Moderators to 'clean up' after you when you're perfectly capable and able to edit your own posts in any given topic is absurd, true I may have been a little harsh. But cheating is cheating and should not be tolerated, that's the message I was trying to get across. But as usual certian people automatically overreact and assume that i'm going off the deep end, if you all feel that i'm abusing my power than just vote on it and if the majority says yes I'll gladly step down again. I wouldn't want to anger the people anymore than i've clearly have.

No justification for what I did at all, really. =\ Anyway, All I've really got left to say is, what report button are you talking about, TP? I really can't see any report button. :S

I wouldn't want to anger the people anymore than i've clearly have. You know, a good way to avoid having people expect you to be mad at them is to stop writing as if you're mad at them. You really should think about how you word stuff. And please, there's a nice little invention called a "paragraph". Use it, it'll make your posts easier to read. Not only is WALL OF TEXT hard to read, it also makes it look like you're just spouting random nonsense. This is intended as friendly advice, please take it as such.
