One day, she stumbles across the decidedly peculiar but very popular Ouran Host Club. She tries to leave, but accidentally breaks a vase, and unable to pay for it, she's told that she'll have to stay and do odd jobs. That is, until they decide she would be more valuable as a club member. Not realizing she's female due to her appearance, they fix her up and give her a male uniform. She's an instant hit, so they decide to have her keep up the charade even after they find out the truth. Haruhi, being average almost to a fault, doesn't know what to make of the unconventional activities of the Host Club (or of the even more unconventional members), but having little choice, she plays along. Before long, real bonds are formed, friends made, and Haruhi finds herself accepted in a way she could never have been otherwise in this affluent school. And the first DVD is going to be out on October 28th! ^.^ bounces up and down It'll have the first 13 episodes. The next half is coming out January of 09. So, the inevitable horrid English dub will be available in October. I don't know if they've put it on TV yet, or if they're going to (and if they are look out because they'll have edited stuff out). For those interested, here's the official site. http://funimation.com/ouran/ Anyway...This is a pretty awesome anime. I think I've posted about it before. I started watching it shortly after it was first released and loved every minute of it. It's addicting. The characters are lovable, they explain their backstories very well (which is one of the many reasons why there probably won't be a second season), and it's full of humor and awkward situations and randomness. People who like Fruits Basket tend to like this one, for whatever reason. Probably the reverse harem aspect of it, but who knows? Anyone looking for a comedy that touches lightly on romance, but for the most part has deep characters (especially towards the end) should definitely watch this.
