This is the most morbid, depressing, murderous, political, plot-heavy, high fantasy series I have ever encountered. It's amazing. I love it...I read A Game of Thrones last fall, and I'm on the fourth book now. I can't say much about the plot without giving stuff away, but you don't need a description to read it. Honestly, I was in the book store and on the phone with my brother asking him for recommendations and I mentioned this series and asked him if it was good, since I knew nothing about it, and he said he couldn't believe I hadn't read it already...so I did.

Be warned...this series is graphic. So if you're squeamish, don't like too many details on character interactions (you'll know what I mean), don't like reading anything violent....then just don't read it.

Also...HBO's making a series based off of the first book, A Game of Thrones. *excitement*
...An enemy that is pure evil? Right and wrong are not what separate us and our enemies. It's our different standpoints, our perspectives that separate us. Both sides blame one another. There's no good or bad side. Just 2 sides holding different views.

If I see any of those books I'll be sure to get them, and I love in depth details on everything that happens in a given book. :p
"Roses, Daisies, Tulips, and even Lilacs can be deadly to those who suffer from floral allergies. So beautiful to look at and smell but a weapon none the less, whether it be the thorns of the rose or the toxic pollen of a petunia; Flower power is just as mighty as any sword!"

Yay! And I just finished the most recent book in the series...and it's AMAZING. I love this series...everyone should read it! Well, everyone who doesn't mind gory details or TMI moments about the characters.
