The United States Broadcasting Company commits itself to providing objective news content, and to clearly differentiating that objective news content from any subjective content. To this end, the United States Broadcasting Company runs a disclaimer before certain programs, which reads as follows: "Please be advised that this is not a new a news program. Statements made by the host(s), guest(s), staff, and crew of this program may not be objective, correct, or fair."

The United States Broadcasting Company presently requires this disclaimer to be run before each episode of The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. The United States Broadcasting Company reruns the disclaimer before each return from commercial break.
