History
Spoiler: click to toggle Elizabeth was born in Alabama, Georgia in 1976. Her father, George Michael Adams, ran a liquor store in the town and her mother, Ruby Maybelle Adams, worked during the days at the same store. They made a decent income considering and she usually didn't have to go without too much. A fan of the outdoors, she spent most of her after school days outside with friends or alone (she was an only child). She was always fascinated by insects and animals as well as nature itself. During school, she excelled in science and math while not doing as well in english. Examining literature was always a weak point of hers.
During her teenage years she met her husband, Aaron James Garner, during her freshman year of high school. The two became quick friends and when she went into tenth grade she even joined the ROTC to be around him longer. During her short time in there, they became boyfriend/girlfriend, a relationship which would last out of high school despite her husband's enlistment in the Air Force. During his active years in the military, she traveled from place to place and when he retired, when she was 26, they settled down in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. With the help of her husband, she had gotten a career path that left her needing to travel even still, a scientist. She was part of a team investigating genetic modification and mutations.
When she hit 30, they began to think about their future together and decided to have a child before they lost track of time and she became too old to have one. Once it was confirmed she was pregnant, she made a goal to stay off of work in order to allow the pregnancy to go well. IT was during this time that they developed an idea, much to her husband's chagrin, to use the baby she had to test their theories with genetic modification in the womb. Curiosity killed the cat, as they say, and when he was born they found his fur to be oddly colored, his eyes took a brighter glow than normal, and he had no need for eat, sleep or drink. Beyond this, it was later found that he was made sterile.
When Benjamin came of age and moved from the house, she finally had a home alone with her husband and the two stayed together until his death when she was 52. He died in a robbery, she only survived because he hid her and she wasn't caught. Devastated, Benjamin returned home for a few months until she felt secure enough on her own. Once he moved away, she resumed her work.
