I can't believe I let AG talk me into downloading the demo for Tom Clancy's EndWar. I spent nearly an hour telling little tanks to attack using my headset. ![]() On the other hand Portal was pretty good. A good thinking game. BioShock I got to grips with quite well, which is something since I'm useless at FPS I found Stranglehold pretty good. I might buy it if I see it cheap. |

Tomb Raider: Underworld - I liked the demo but made sure I shot the sharks before jumping in the water. ![]() Balancing on the beams was fiddly at first and knowing where to go was quite hard because the ledges weren't as obvious. |

The graphics were better, sound just the same really. The camera is a tad iffy at times esp on the beams. But all in all it was pretty good. |

What i liked about the project Gotham demo, i played this stage where you have to drive inbetween cones for points called kudos, the inside car view makes it feel like you're driving a real car, as close to that feeling i've got in a game and whats was cool is i started driving at daylight, it grew darker and darker each lap,as the sun set, it was a very nicely done effect If i have a gripe its that they dont really let you race a city in the demo, i'd like to got a look at a real world locale, like Tokyo, sanfransisco etc |

The Banjo demo confirmed my worse fears, it does seem to depend on what vehicles you build. And building them was boring. Meh! On the plus side the demo lets you play online with other players which were fun. First game I played was a sea battle I had a ship but some other online players had planes they must have got from the main game. The other game was a battle to stay in a moving crown while knocking others out of it. |

I think it seems to want to be different, i like that it uses that, cant think of the name of it at the moment, but its the same thing that was in the James Bond Film Casino they used on the chase scenes, the form where you use your surroundings, jumping over benches flipping off walls |

'LOTR: Conquest' demo on Xbox Live Saturday, January 3 2009, 21:42 GMT By Mark Langshaw A multiplayer demo for Lord Of The Rings: Conquest is now available to download via Xbox Live and PSN. The 1.25GB demo from Pandemic Studios is available worldwide. Both good and evil campaigns can be sampled, with gameplay comparable to that of the studio's previous release Star Wars: Battlefront. The full game retails on January 13 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, with an original version in the works for the Nintendo DS. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/gaming/a139871/lotr-conquest-demo-on-xbox-live.html |
