Sweet thread Chaos :TU:

I remember playing the Sega Master system, my parents got one when I was 5, there were like 3 games that my parents and I used to play heaps. One was Teddy Boy, we used to be sooooo addicted to it. Then there was a game where your character walked through a haunted house and if you walked past a coffin a vampire would come out and attack you, but sort of swooping attacks so you had to jump under a light bulb and that would make the vampire freeze and then you could beat the snot out of him. Then there was another game I think it might have been called Kung Fu and you just walked along kicking the crap out of everyone you came across.

Oh yes I have that haunted house game!! :woot:

My earliest gaming experience that I have is of playing Pitfall and some weird maths game that involved Bert and Ernie... this was on the old Atari system

I loved that thing with the classic joystick and everything :P
Then I remember having the Sega Master system II with Alex the kidd built in :P and I used to play it sitting on the floor of my brother's room whilst he would always sit and watch me :D

I think its Ghost house you guys are talking about for master system with the vampire, use to love this game

We first started with a machine that only played pong

Then we got a 2600 cause it was under 50 bucks, my cousin had one before us, but going over his house we didnt get to play it much. I dont think he was very sharing

Then we got a 7800 which had better graphic and played all of our 2600 games

To be continued

My first gaming experience, on my own gaming system, was an Atari 2600... The "new" smaller black unit, not the huge faux-woodgrain one... (Which I did get given one after I got our 2600) Got Pitfall with it. Eventually got all the classics, Dig Dug and so on. Moved up to a Playstation 1 after that.

Then went the PC route, an Amstrad 286, with a massive 1MB of RAM, was my first computer.

When wolfpac and I were like 10+ our Friday ritual was pretty much get my dad to take us up to the video shop and we would hire out Royal Rumble and Rock n Roll Racing for the Sega Mega Drive and play them all night. Was lots of fun.

I remember we first rented the Sega Megadrive console, we rented GhostBuster with it and Spiderman, Streets of Rage stayed out, it took forever for us to get a copy of that to rent

I reckon that Saints Row and Saints Row 2 brought us back to that in a way.
