So we are headed forward at a good pace. While sometimes it seems that there is this urgency to gain the Shields, I really like to push that time moves slower in a D&D setting. In other words, you can be in a hurry, but spend a week or more in every major city or what ever that you visit. That said, this is how I plan on the game timeline wise: Lets assume you spent a tenday in Highmoon. Feel free to go add anything you would do in that time while there if you want in your personal threads (other than things you already have done). Your next destination was back to your homebase on Chess Isle. Here you regroup, process your new knowledge learned at the library, and peruse the study at your manor house. I will go into detail about this later, but one of the key things you learn is that you have a 7 month window to work with in a trip to the mysterious island chain. The other months wracked with violent storms and apparently strange oceanic "phenomena" that leave all who attempt to sail, with the exception of figures from legendary tales, dead. As such, you decide to hold out the winter. In the early spring, you arrive in Selguant, the wealthiest Sembian City with the thirst for adventure. The party will spend at least ten day here as you prepare for your campaign to the Pirate Isles. |
