By the Cornucopia "Ladies and gentlemen, let the 100th Hunger Games begin!" The thirty contestants are semi-circled in front of the Cornucopia, exact equal distance from it. They are ordered by their district. So the boy of district 1 is next to the girl from 1, and them to the boy of district 2 etc. You are on top of a high snowcap, grey cliffs surrounding it. The ground is slippery, meaning care will be needed when moving. Of course, you will need to run straight away, so extra, extra care is needed. The Cornucopia itself is surrounded by a ring of ice, having to be crossed before the items are reached. On top of that, you have twenty-nine contestants around you wanting your blood. Good luck. Directions: Cornucopia - Countless supplies fill the horn, the most valuable being inside, least valuable on the outskirts. Tents, weapons, food, backpacks, too many to count. You will be able to see exactly what items there are when you run towards it... but remember, if you stop to be greedy and grab lots, the chances are someone will take the chance to kill you. South - You look behind/ahead ((depending on location)) as you await the horn, seeing the snowcap soon descends into grey cliffs. A sea of green trees lie beyond the cliffs, stretching out into the distance. North - The snowcap continues north for a while, before descending into cliffs, eventually approaching an impassable barrier of mighty tall cliffs. West - To the west, a tall mountain extends up into the sky, giving any climber a full view of the entire arena. East - The snowcap descends to cliffs at the east. You can barely see the blue of water at the bottom of the cliff, before the ground rises up yet another cliff to show another lake at the top, with a waterfall descending into the lower. Notes: -Welcome to the games! As you can see, the arena is snowy and icy, thus very cold. When roleplaying, your tributes are going to suffer from cold and will need to focus on getting warm. -You take one turn at a time. Meaning you can only do one action before you must wait for me. You may, however, roleplay as much as you want without me. But you can't move, attack someone, take something etc more than once without me updating. Everyone moves at the same speed. -In your roleplay posts, ensure you specify which direction you want to head in. -This will be the only topic where all thirty of you will be able to read. -The first fifteen tributes to run are free to. The other fifteen after that are forced into the bloodbath and caught in the fighting. -Those who stay at the cornucopia after the bloodbath will be able to establish it as their base. -When I say it's snowy and icy, yes, there is a chance of you falling over. Now's when you wish you included something in your strengths about balance, yes? Contestants Visible: All Items Here: -Specify what item you're aiming for. I'm going by the basis that... everything you can think of is there. Obviously, if you choose something like a... gun or an... elephant, I will decline. -If you'd rather take a lucky dip, then aim for a bag. Each bag will have some food, water, weapon and various survival gear. -You can only get one item per turn. Want multiple? Risk getting killed to get it, by all means. Terrain: Snow - Increases chance of tripping over. Affects speed. |

(This is actual Compy~ As I said in the ACC PT, all those who were DQed are being controlled by me. If the original owners wish to reclaim control, they may do. Assuming I don't kill 'em off first.) Kitro dashes for the Cornucopia, aiming for a sword. |

(Compy doesn't have to roleplay, mwahaha) Suriel spots the district 5 boy sprinting first, and decides to keep away from him due to his weakness at close combat. However, he spots some throwing knives, and immediately dashes towards them. |

When Luna notices that she MUST be in the Cornucopia, she decides to graze by and grab a pack. She wanted a weapon, but it's just...so...cold. Staying warm is much more important right now. |

Due to her slightly better resistance to cold than most people, Laura figures she'd be better off getting a weapon first, and things to keep her warm a little later. She takes her chance and darts towards a pair of dual swords. |

Roxanne, seeing a big oppertunity to get some swords, heads out to the Cornucopia in search for swords. "That cold won't bother me. I've veen trained to endure these conditions." Roxanne said to the rest of the group. "If any of you losers wanna say goodbye, now's the time to do so before i'll face you." |

Well, now. Danny MacLeod's original plan was to get in there quick and snag himself something nice. But seeing all those other guys running in ahead of him, grabbin' swords what with to samurai showdown each other, he holds back. All of a sudden, staying alive sounded a lot better than securing himself a shiny armament. He was never good with weapons, anyhow, so he snags himself a bag with comparative ease. |

Cadence glances warily down at the slippery ice before her eyes find a small blue backpack roughly 20 meters away. She sees the district 5 boy next to her take off after some other object, and she hopes no one else has their heart set on this blue bag. Gauging the distance accordingly, Cadence shoves off from where she is standing, shakily gliding across the surface of the ice. She then digs her heels into the ice to stop herself, wobbling to a halt and snatching up the blue bag. |

Lolly takes one look at the Cornucopia, shakes her head with something between a frown and a smirk on her face, and runs at average speed with some care (not too quickly so she'll fall, but quickly enough to get her out of there pronto) towards the South. |

Leon looks for the nearest backpack that looks like it may contain anything, ideally survival supplies such as a sleeping bag or water, and attempts to grab it without anybody noticing him. |

Rochelle eyes other people sliding and copies to do the same. She's hoping to get a certain trident but if that's unattainable, she decides she'll get a spear instead. |

After surveying the est of the Cornucopia, she notices that no one seems to notice her. Was it my hair? Does it blend with the snow? she thought while running away. (Didn't we already discuss this? The surveying and noticing is fine, but you can't head south till turn two)(I thought I was in turn 2 already...) (Nope, turn 2 is when I update with the results. It'll be slow at first, but when we get more into the actual RP side of things, it'll be faster cause you can do whatever you want that doesn't require me to reply) |

Shivering and panicking, Knott runs cautiously towards the outskirts of the Cornucopia's item field and grabs a pack. He is in such a panic that he does not check to see what it contains. |

With her eyes darting around, watching the other tributes, Elizabeth opts to run over to grab a bag, if there are any left. If not, she aims (no pun intended) for a bow and supply of arrows. |
