Although the special effects were great and there were a few good moments, I thought the overly-complex and meandering plot rather boring. Jackman is good but even he can't save this mediocre mess. Fans should take note there is a brief scene after the credits at the end. It's a quick joke scene (right out of the comic book). While amusing, it certainly isn't worth sitting through the endless end credits to see. A tepid start to the summer blockbuster season. Bob Bloom (aka Zorro) on Rottentomatoes.com has written an excellent review of this first summer blockbuster. I agree on almost all points. Edited by Black Tiger, May 3 2009, 09:22 PM.
