As a start, let me shout to the rafters that one of the funniest films ever made has been released on DVD today!!! In my opinion, THE MIRACLE OF MORGAN'S CREEK is Preston Sturges' greatest film (which is saying a lot). Here's a film that satirizes everything from small town hypocracy to the immaculate conception, but still manages to be big-hearted and sweet. I love, love, love this film. It's simply my favorite film. I haven't seen the DVD as yet, but word has it that the picture and sound are above average.
