Going by memory, I seem to recall that Titanic tied Ben-Hur with 11. Is that correct? Or has a movie since then done more? Or am I addled? |

Well, there you go, then. Where will you find Hattie McDaniel's Best Supporting Actress Academy Award from Gone with the Wind? |

It's at Howard University in Washington D.C. Speaking of Washington D.C., name at least two sci-fi movies in which the Washington Monument is an important location. |

Curiouser and curiouser. According to Wiki, which is no definite source I know, the statue is either mislabeled in storage at Howard University, in the Potomac River or lost to time. Where do you think it is, LG? Edited by The Batman, Sep 16 2014, 12:09 PM.

Knowing a little bit about Howard and a period of some chaos there, I believe that's where it still is. |

I read a fascinating study four or five years ago; they undertook an inventory at Howard that took nearly two years, specifically looking for it. They never found it. So wherever it is, it sure ain't at Howard. I worded the question very particularly, didn't I? |

Cimarron (and again, going by memory, but I think the only other Western to win was Dances with Wolves). Briefest on-screen appearance by an actor or actress who won an Academy Award for the film in question. |

Beatrice Straight for NETWORK, with about 5 minutes and 40 seconds of screen time, nabbed Best Supporting Actress. Who has been nominated for the most Oscars (any category) but never won? |
