Alpha have released 'Goliath and the Dragon' starring Mark Forest and Broderick Crawford - I saw it when I was about 10, and it's reviews aren't bad. Has anyone got it? - if so, how is the colour quality, please? Nick |

I may be way off base here, but I seem to remember that this baby was directed by horrormaestro Mario Bava. The one scene I remember was Procrustes tring to fit ol' Gordon into his famous bed. The actor dubbing him was so bad -- he sounded like the husband in THE ALLIGATOR PEOPLE -- the whole audience was wild with mirth. Color in the original was world class -- hope the DVD measures up. |

Now I'm puzzled - possible you're thinking of 'Hercules in the Haunted World' with Reg Park and Christopher Lee - that's another one I quite fancy - Christopher said in his autobio that the coloured lighting was pretty, as was Leonora Ruffo! :rolleyes: Nick |

I recently ordered Alpha's 'Goliath and the Dragon' (widescreen)  starring Mark Forest and BRODERICK CRAWFORD! Reviewer on Amazon says colour quality excellent - lovely jubbly! :rolleyes: |

I got a boxed set of Hercules films a few years ago, but none were widescreen (Totalscope) like the new Goliaths - Vampires is very rare - never shown on UK television - Barbarians was shown once on the BBC with FRENCH dialogue and subtitles! :angry: |
