Ah, well, I don't get a lot of stuff for FREE free, but I trade in older titles for credits, ask for gift cards for my holidays, and have a frequent-buyer program at the local used/new DVD/Blu-ray place. If it makes you feel any better, I had to pay a whole ten bucks for the Blu-ray of Planet of the Vampires.

You added "The Girl Hunters" to your list last month.

Saw it a couple of nights ago. Nice b&w print, first time for me in Panavision.

Halliwell: "Comic strip thuggery with the author playing his own slouchy hero; the general incompetence gives this cheap production an air of Kafaesque menace."

Completely on target as usual, and I can only add that Shirley Eaton looked terrific then, and much more recently, in one of the accompanying talking-head interviews. I think this would be a hit at one of your Friday shows.

The Girl Hunters was our Friday Night Films presentation on Nov. 7. We enjoyed it very much, but I didn't write a review of it (not yet, anyway). Too busy writing about, oh, Dondi, The Phantom from 10,000 Leagues, that sort of thing.
