 I just watched the Gale Storm double feature Rodney offers on his site. CAMPUS RHYTHM (1943) turned out to be a very enjoyable flick that proves Monogram was able to accomplish more than the 'el cheapo reputation they became known for. The story was simple, the romance and false identity radio-singer was complex enough that I found myself feeling for the characters. Anything Gale Storm did in the 1940s is always worth watching because she had not aged to the MY LITTLE MARGIE figure. The music was also above average.
