Picked up The Green Lantern: First Flight Two-Disc Special Edition. The nephew won't be able to watch it for a few days. So I'll likely wait until he can watch it with me. But I did watch the extra Duck Dogers episode The Green Loontern. BTW the 2 bonus cartoons are Justice League Unlimited Episodes Once and Future Thing parts 1&2. Would be nice if once in a while Bruce would include something other than Justice League episodes. That way those of us who already have the Justice League Unlimited sets might get something we don't already have.

Got home to find, in no particular order, Becoming Charley Chase set (VCI), Ben Hecht's Actors and Sin (1951) with Edward G. Robinson, Marsha Hunt, and Eddie Albert, Bardeleys the Magnificent (Kino), and Rock Around the Hits.

Some Griffiths came today: True Heart Susie, The Avenging Conscience, and, scraping the bottom of the barrel, The Idol Dancer and Dream Street. Also "the restored" Lola Montez. It'll be interesting to see what the restoration amounts to. Lola spent her last years in a nearby town, Nevada City, so I felt obligated to get it; I'll take any excuse to watch an Ophuls movie.

Well, that "Big Iron" set of six Westerns arrived today (see the DVD Calendar for more info), and the 50 percent off Criterions sale at B&N's netted me The Red Shoes, Tales of Hoffman, and The Samurai Trilogy.
