What's with 'Niagara', Mr. G? Is there a new edition?

Yes, issued as part of the recent Marilyn boxed set. I'm not sure if it's an improvement on the old DVD, though. It's part of the "Cinema Classics Collection" now.

I don't know how some of you guys do it. You must have a money tree in your yard, or you have money comin' out of the rear orafice of your body. Either that or you have a "Sugar Daddy" or a direct line to an Insta Bank.

I'd like to know what your secret is? I sure can't do it on my fixed income.

Ron McKnight.

I don't play golf, rarely drink and don't bet on sports. That means I have some spending money left. It also helps that the kids are grown and that the wife works too.

I'm single so I only have me to spend money on and can spend it how I want. I don't go out a lot so DVDs and the occasional book are about all I spend my money on. Plus I'm out of debt having paid off my trailer a few years ago and paid cash for my last vehicle.

It was shaping up to be quite a heavy week for me, as well, but luckily the Warner's TOUGH GUY COLLECTION and FILM NOIR VOL. 3 have been pushed back in Canada until August 15th.

Still, there was plenty to get, including: CARNIVALE: SEASON 2, THE INCREDIBLE HULK: SEASON 1, and THE PRETENDER: SEASON 4. Oh yeah, and the superhero spoof THE SPECIALS, which I will dutifully review for all you lucky people, in the near future.
Always be yourself! Unless you can be Batman...then always be Batman!

Actually this would be week before last but it seems I forgot to mention it. Picked up a double sided DVD of The Gumball Rally in widescreen and Cannonball Run II in fullscreen. The Gumball Rally is way better that the Burt Reynolds film Cannonball Run and Cannonball Run II isn't. In fact I can't imagine getting Cannonball Run II by itself. Although I do have the original Cannonball Run in my collection.

I won $250 on a state lottery last night. Gee, I wonder what I can spend those winnings on?

I walked around town with my Radio Flyer and collected lots of glass soda bottles
to buy my copy of Panther Girl of the Congo from AC.

You would think by now I would have learned to stop walking by the bargain shelves at Wal-mart. But no I had to check them out once again. This time I picked up the 1st season of The Jeff Foxworthy Show. I never planned on buying this show. But at $5.50 for a complete season set I couldn't resist.

Marlin Lee, my condolences on your getting that TV show. I found it to be painfully unfunny

I cashed in my lottery ticket today and went over to Wal-Mart where I purchased the following...

The Wild Wild West: The Complete First Season
dharma & greg: Season 1
And Starring Pancho Villa As Himself
Cheaper By The Dozen 2
Smokey and the Bandit: Special Edition
Blazing Saddles: 30th Anniversary Edition
The Family Stone

Unfortunately, none were from the $5.50 bin...

Actually I'm enjoying the show. I mostly like Foxworthy's humor. Maybe because my neck is fairly red. It doesn't hurt that the actress who plays his wife is gorgeous.
