Arrived today, the Our Gang set from Warners and the French comedy 0SS 177: Cairo, Nest of Spies. Oh, yeah, and The Office: Season 5.

What's the quality of the Our Gang set?
Life is just a bowl of cherries, it's too mysterious, don't take it serious...

Got the Flash Gordon box for the grandkids today, second time. They've ruined two out of three in the original set. Oh well, at least they watched 'em.

Leafing through the set, I was reminded just how awful these shorts are... in some cases unbearable, mainly because they follow 16 years full of WONDERFUL shorts from Hal Roach... and we get 52 short subjects absolutely clueless about what made Our Gang so great.

Anyway, the technical quality is spotless from what I've seen. There are 5 discs, the first four of which have 11 shorts and the last one with 8 shorts (all are 1 reel). Here, have a peek:

As I announced elsewhere, I received the three Hermitage Hill serials yesterday, Red Barry, Call Of The Savage and Scarlet Horseman. Ordered on the 10th and arrived on the 14th with only their regular shipping & handling. Must be some kinda record!
Not plane, nor bird, nor even frog. It's just little ol' me...
