Go to the links Zodiac, the links are from WAl*Mart and the puppies are no longer 15. I'm glad I bought the most expensive ones first.
Prices at Wal-Mart and walmart.com are not always the same. Sometimes you get a sale at walmart.com and sometimes you get a loss leader in the store. So chances are the store price is correct.

The store prices went from 15 bucks to the internet prices.

This weekend at Costco I picked up the complete series sets of SOAP and Newsradio. Each has 12 discs (Soap has 90 episodes, Newsradio 97) and was value priced at $19.99. The down side is that they came in the worst packaging ever, all 12 discs on a single spindle in a plastic tray. They don't even have a list of each episode title. But you can't beat the price. I guess I'll just repackage them and create some artwork and episode guides. At the same price they also had the complete series of Sanford and Son as well as Goodtimes.

I always enjoyed SOAP during its initial run, I suspect its "bold" comedy may not stand the test of time too well. My memories of Newsradio are much more recent and I know I'll enjoy it. There's nothing ground breaking about it, but a solid cast and decent writing make it worth a watch.

Never fear, CL! SOAP indeed stands the test of time. Sure, the last season is a little wonky and far-out, but still loads of fun!

Just ask Bert, he's right behind you.

Thanks for the brain jolt BM. I had completely forgotten the entire "Bert thinks he's invisible" subplot. The show sure crammed a lot of outrageous ideas into its run.

No problem, CL. You caught the reference, I think you will still enjoy the show.

BM,
I probably will, my biggest obstacle to finding out though is too many DVDs and not enough time. My buying eyes are always so much bigger than my available viewing hours! As my wife constantly reminds me, if I live to be 500 years old I'll never have time to watch everything I've got. It's a tough argument to beat when she's trying to decrease my purchases!
