Received my 1st shipment of Combat! from Amazon. I bought the 1st season when it originally came out but haven't bought any other sets until now. Amazon has all but 2 of the sets on sale so I ordered the ones on sale from Amazon and the rest from DeepDiscount.

Big sale at Fry's.... Netted me, for $100 and change, the Criterion of Two-Lane Blacktop, The Munsters: Complete First Season, The Addams Family, Vol. 3 (the last of that series), The Fly 4-disc set (with the two sequels and a bonus fourth disc) and the Disney Treasures tin I couldn't find anywhere else: Disneyland. At Borders, with a 30% off coupon, I picked up Drunken Angel.

by the way, if you have a Fry's near you, not only is THE FLY collection $17, but the Fox Horror collection (with HANGOVER SQUARE, UNDYING MONSTER, and THE LODGER) is only $13.99.

For Gravy and other purchasers of the Criterion “Ingmar Bergman: Four Masterworks” Set:

First pressing copies of 'The Seventh Seal' are from last year’s '50 Years of Janus' collection and lack the extras of the official Criterion edition.

If you want to replace it, details are on Criterion’s website.

Unless someone gets me any DVDs for Christmas, I may only get one title this month...the fifth Harry Potter movie. There's a slight chance someone may get me The Simpsons Movie. If they don't, I may break down and buy that myself on the last day of 2007.
