At an early Christmas celebration last night, with my eldest son's family, Chandu scored all three seasons of The Wild, Wild West! :P

It could very well be exactly that! We'll have to see how the rest of my Christmas plays out. This year, I've also cast some bread upon the waters by giving the Kino Nosferatu and the MGM That's Entertainment trilogy as gifts. :P

At the used DVD store, found cheap copies of Key Largo (Bogie & Bacall), The Big Heat (Glenn Ford, Gloria Grahame), The Oliver Hardy Collection from Kino, The Omega Man, and a compilation of trailers from cheezy action movies -- and Cheezy Flicks.

I think I got just one DVD this past week, the newest Harry Potter movie. An online friend is sending me The Simpsons Movie and it might arrive this week sometime.

Sorry, Star Trek fans -- I found the third season under my Christmas tree, along with of all things Paint Your Wagon!

Quite a haul from Santa this Christmas...
I received the "Burt Lancaster Signature Collection", "The John Ford Silent Film Collection", "Love American Style Season 1 Volume 1", "The Simpsons Movie" and "Spike Jones...The Legend". Santa also ordered "White Eagle" for me but Deep Discount hasn't shipped it yet.

Santa and relatives brought me:
Thieve's Highway
Bob Hope Ultimate Collection

I also got the Ford at Fox box. Wow!

Some stuff I had on order came in too:

Blade Runner Collector's Edition (Blu-Ray)
2001 (Blu-Ray)
The Bourne Ultimatum (HD-DVD)
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Blu-Ray)

I've got a dual format HD-DVD/Blu-Ray player coming. It got stuck at the North Pole.
TANSTAAFL!
