Rock-a-Bye Baby!
Aw heck!
THE DAY THE CLOWN CRIED will never see the light of day and we're all the poorer for it.

These illustrations are by Drew Friedman for an article about the never-released Jerry Lewis film by Bruce Handy that appeared in SPY Magazine, JERRY GOES TO DEATH CAMP.
That brilliant piece may be accessed here: http://www.subcin.com/clownspy.html

Picked up The Incredible Hulk today. This time I decided it was worth the extra money to go with the 3 disc special edition.

I got Looney Tunes as well; at Best Buy, it comes with a free book by Jerry Beck, very colorful, packed with cartoon info and memorabilia.

Got the Warners Gangsters Set Volume 4 and the final Charlie Chan Collection Monday. I suspect that will be it for the week.

Picked up the new Brendan Fraser version of Journey to the Center of the Earth. Watched it with my nephew and he didn't want to watch the 3-D version. I had already checked out a few scenes and was unimpressed with the 3-D so I didn't push it. I didn't see it in the theater so it may just be the 3-D DVD transfer I was unimpressed with.

Maybe you could see a double feature of "M" and "W." Stonester.

Costco had that new mega-Hitchcock set with restored versions of The Lodger, Sabotage, Young and Innocent, Rebecca, Lifeboat, Spellbound, Notorious, The Paradine Case, and tons of bonus material, for $80, so I sprang for that.

I'd rather watch M and Z. If I want to see W, I'll watch It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World......I'm comin' Mama!

Today I picked up Dr. No and Young Frankenstein.
