Saw the first Mrs. Peel episode last night- The Town Of No Return. Nice peep hole on Mrs. Peel's flat door.

From 2 different Amazon sellers, I got the enitire The Avengers '65 A&E sets. I already have the entire '66 sets. Funny that the '67 sets have about twice the shows that the '65 or '66 sets have.

Picked up The Cowboys from Wal*Mart today also.
Are these A&E sets on dvd or vhs?
Can you purchase the 24 Diana Rigg episodes on a different set than the 33 Linda Thorson episodes?
I only have eyes for Ms Rigg in leather.

They're DVDs. You can purchase them seperately. They can be gotten as seasonal sets or you can opt for the Diana Rigg mega-set. Quite possibly my favorite TV show.

When I was a teenager the local channel that ran the syndicated Avengers series was hassled by the Sunday School crowd for running a "sex" show. They took the series off for a couple of weeks. When it returned, it aired after 11 pm and competed with a rocknroll tv show on another channel. The competition cramped my viewing in those pre-dvr, pre-vcr days.

I'm getting my kicks on Route 66 with The Complete Second Season release, which arrived yesterday.

I really looked forward to it but the 4th Indiana Jones was my biggest movie disappointment of 2008.

For me it was tied with HANCOCK. Indy 4 was the biggest as a weak movie in a beloved franchise, while HANCOCK was the biggest waste of much potential. Just a weak imitation of what will hopefully be an intense, emotional storyline in the cinematic Iron Man saga.
