I can't believe Grood banned a lot of his staunchest supporters, people who stuck with him after several of us left in disgust at his egotism, which seems to have grown even worse. He's virtually nuts now, but don't forget, the first guy he banned was his own Dad, and that was a long time ago.
Life is just a bowl of cherries, it's too mysterious, don't take it serious...

Don:
That's basically what Grood has done so now he has to live with it. As far as SerialFest I seriously doubt if one happens next year at least with the people who have supported it for the last 9 years.

I gotta admit, I haven't been following this thread at all ('cause I ain't been watching any good serials lately) and I am appalled at the last several posts. Well, not appalled at the posts, just appalled. I've been saying for YEARS, though, that it's Grood board and he can run it as he wants to, so long as he lives with the consequences. He is, and he does. I still haven't decided if he's nuts, a thief, a lying prick, or some combination of the three.

I saw some link to a serial chat earlier in this thread... I clicked and made the request. Anybody tell me more about this? Maybe we should promote this. Who is behind it?

I think Barcroft posted that he started it. I have also put in my Yuku request.

Whilst cruising around the various Yuku sites, I landed smack dab in The Serial Squadron's message board. I could hear The Twilight Zone on the TV in the living room. I ain't a-kiddin'!!!

I tried to sign up but it says "Sorry this email is in use by another account."
How do I get around that if it won't accept my E-mail address ?

The four (4) who applied to the serial family chat room have been approved. I apologize but could not get into Yuku to approve them until I got home tonight. To Don Daredevil I don't know why you could not get in unless someone who uses the Yuku boards already has the Don Daredevil moniker.

You could go to Hotmail, Yahoo, or some similar service and set up a free email account. Also see if your ISP allows you more than one email address.

Another way to get into the chat room is to change you moniker by one letter i.e. on Daredevil change the 'i' to an 'e'. Black Tiger had to change his to Black Tigrrr when the Squadron chat room moved over to Yuku. Just a thought!!!!

I generally like serials that have an interesting twist to them, like Phantom Empire's mixing a lost civilization sci fi plot with a western musical, The Spider constantly having to evade the police for his own murderous methods of dealing out justice while hunting down the villain in The Spider's Web, or casting Bela Lugosi as a romantic hero in The Return of Chandu.
That last one was a bit too twisted for me. Lugosi just doesn't come across as a romantic guy.

Maybe in real life but Lugosi shows no romantic appeal on screen. Besides Bow never met a man she didn't like.
